The Park

This place is strange.

There are nearly 80,000 people in this town,
but you'd almost never know it looking at this park.

I don't know why people don't come here, it's a nice little park.
There are trails and trees and hidden places for kids to discover.






It's okay, we'll just take advantage
of the solitude while we can.

Until others discover this place,
we can pretend it's our own backyard!

I'd only looked away for a moment, I swear.
After all, it happened in the same room in which I was sitting.

I heard the clamoring in the corner of my ear.
But, because something on the computer had me so deeply engrossed, I neglected to check out the cause of the ruckus...until...
it was too late!
