Hard Candy Natural Eyes Review | First Impression

The eldest daughter gave me the new Hard Candy Natural Eyes palette to try.

It was hard to believe the palette retails for $8 at Walmart, but yet it does.  It is said to be the dupe for the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette ($36), both having similar shades and case design.  So how could I not give it a go?

ALIENWARE 14 Unboxing & Review

I'm a little late posting this video, since I've using the laptop for a couple of weeks now.  But the Alienware 14 still excites me!  After all, I've been wanting one of these for a while.

In the video, I show the unboxing and give a little review of what I've discovered about the machine so far.  There are some quirky things I've discovered along the way, but nothing earth-shattering.  If nothing else, it makes it more interesting and gives me new things to do.

So, I guess I'm satisfied with this laptop.  To be sure, it's one of the best I've owned.  It should be, considering the cost of the thing!  (O.o)

There's probably some points I forgot to make in the video.  Partly, this is because I hadn't yet realized how amazing the sound system is, particularly with headphones on, when I made the video.  I've also learned to navigate Windows 8.1 loads better and quite like some of its features.  No doubt, I'll come across more things to consider about this setup in the future.

Review: Superior One Roofing

It's been about 2 months since we had the shingles replaced on our roof.  A hail storm came earlier in the year, so the roof took quite a beating, apparently.

I say "apparently" for good reason.  I don't have much faith in roofing companies these days.  I'll just leave it at that.  :(

Let me know what you think of the roofing job we got from Superior One Roofing out of Irving, Texas.

Upcoming Review! Influenster VoxBox: Palmolive Soft Touch

I've got a new Influenster VoxBox review coming up!

First of all, I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes!

I'm going to be trying out Palmolive Soft Touch dish liquid. I've already tested the pink Vitamin E one a bit. I must say, I'm impressed with the soft feel of the product and that you don't need much to get loads of suds! Also, it did a great job removing oily residue from my skillets. I'll test it further to find out how well my hands hold up, because the product is supposed to keep hands soft. This product may be perfect for use in a hand soap dispenser. We'll see!

In the coming days, I'll post my final review of both versions of the Palmolive Soft Touch I received.

New Kicks

The new shoes have arrived!

No excuses now. I'll give them a try tonight and see how it goes. My first impression, they feel really nice. A bit snug, because I chose to pick a size down instead of up. I'm in between sizes. Some people say to do that, pick a size smaller, so the fit is better and the feet don't slide around. Some say they like a little extra room, so they choose a size up. Me, I like 'em as they are. Snuggie!

I've jumped in them and jogged around the room. Maybe not a true test, but so far so good. Fit like gloves. Feels a bit like walking around in nice socks. I'll have to give them a go when I'm doing the TurboFire later. It might be a little better than working out barefoot, like I have been doing.
