FitVlog #46: P90X3 MMX

Alrighty!  It's been a long time since a FitVlog has happened.

In this episode, we're doing MMX which is part of the P90X3 program.  MMX is influenced by MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and wears you out!  This workout contains various kicks and punches.  There are also plenty of sprawls to do in this one.  And not just the one that happens when you pass out from exhaustion!

MMX is a little similar to the KenpoX workout found in P90X.  They both are full of kicks and punches.  One of the differences is MMX is only about 30 minutes long.  KenpoX is closer to 60 minutes long.  KenpoX goes along at a slower pace, but it's still a good workout, mostly because it's a longer one.  MMX is fast-paced, which makes it even more of a challenge and more intense than KenpoX.  No matter, both workouts make you sweat!

Here's one of my favorite FitVlogs that shows a little KenpoX, so you can see how it differs from MMX... (this one cracks me up)

We've been working out sort of sporadically, lately.  But now, we plan to stick with P90X3 until it's done.  Also, I may be swapping out or adding some of the workouts in the program with PiYo workouts.  I'll try to add more PiYo workouts to the FitVlog mix, as well.

This time around has been a little difficult.  I've had a harder time getting back into the swing of things since the problems with anemia cropped up.  I'm still having trouble seeing properly, but I've decided to just push on through.  Even so, I've been a bit depressed and have gained a considerable amount of weight over the issues I'm having.  It's more important than ever to get myself on a fitness schedule that is nonnegotiable.  Despite whatever challenges I'm having now, I realize that if I forgo working out, I'll have even more problems to deal with.

Having said all that, I'm preparing to take a nice long walk this morning.  Yes, I know I've been up all night getting the new video edited and posted.  Remember what I said about a nonnegotiable fitness schedule?

Enjoy the vid and take care out there!  (^.^)v
